Cyclcross practice starts tonight (8/5) and runs every Wednesday at Harbin Park in Fairfield til it get's too dark to ride. The official start is at 6:30pm, but riders usually start trickling in and warming up as early at 5:30p. Practices follow the UCI course that'll be used in October and will include: barrier work, sand, off-camber turns, starts, lap intervals...etc. If you're new to cross it's a great way to learn from the most talented riders in the city. Don't be afraid to ask questions. There's riders of all speed/ability levels, so you'll never be out there riding by yourself. Please respect & yield to other park users and abide requests by the Park Ranger.
